Summary
Buck knows he isn't going to be able to sleep tonight, no matter how much alcohol he puts into his body. His hands are shaking so badly that he worries he's going to drop the shot glasses as he takes them out of the cabinet, but by some miracle they come to a rest on the countertop more or less intact. His entire body is humming. He wants to run a marathon, or bomb a building, or (he looks over at Eddie, leaning against the fridge with tousled hair and flushed cheeks) do something equally stupid. More than anything, Buck wants to punch Bobby Nash in his stupid square face. He realizes, with his palms pressed into granite, that that's something he can do now, because Bobby is a real flesh-and-blood person and not a bag of bones halfway across the country.-(euphoria, impulse control, and resurrection)
