Summary
Deacon convinces Persef to accompany him on a trip to a forest a good distance from their own. Persef is uneasy, knowing that they were at a severe disadvantage in this area, but his matesprit did not really care. The area had a strange feeling to it, almost eerie in the way it seemed to resonate. What neither of them know is that this forest is under the protection of two rather kind trolls who simply value their privacy.
