Summary
Qui-Gon Jinn would not take Obi-Wan Kenobi as his Padawan, he would not change his mind. But that did not mean he wanted the boy to vanish in the mess after he found and freed him! He searched but in the end, returned to the Temple with no knowledge of Kenobi's fate.
When Obi-Wan returned to Coruscant, it was to seek vengeance. Not against the Jedi but against the Sith who had killed his Master, his Father. He did not expect to find an apprentice of his own or a fascinating young Queen determined to save her people.
