Something about Sonic had been throwing Shadow off recently and he felt determined to figure out what Sonic was hiding underneath his easy-going and cocky exterior.Had he developed a sort of obsession with his rival? Perhaps, but that was something he'd rather not look at directly. It’s easier to ignore it than face it and that was alright with him. Shadow is the Ultimate Lifeform and problems weren't something he allowed himself to have.However, minor annoyances were a thing that not even he could avoid. The blue blur had managed to insert himself and all his close friends into his life. Sonic was a magnet and everyone the hedgehog met were merely sucked into his orbit and the worst part was, Shadow didn't find himself hating it as much as he had in the beginning. In fact, he even looked up to Sonic, someone who never let himself be led astray… maybe that was why Shadow felt like Sonic wasn't who he said he was…Especially when something begins to terrorize Green Hill Zone. This is my first publicly posted fanfic, yay!
