Another grumble but Jay liked the way this one seemed to reverberate in the tiny amount of space between them. But Orange shifted - not moving away - until they were chest-to-chest, encircled in each other's arms. Not quite a hug but the world fell away anyway.

Shrunk down to just the two of them and the ache in Orange's blue eyes. Seeing him without his sunglasses on felt like a privilege he hadn't earned. Maybe he would have come out here no matter who else was here but Jay couldn't quite convince himself of it when they were this close.
