Wily leaned back, lazily scanning the face of a once dear friend through the eyes of his other version, a smile of amusement tugging at the corners of his mouth. There weren't many things Wily could thank Bass for, but an obvious idea to build a fake robo-Wily belonged to this impudent teenager. Maybe his creator's brilliance did pass down to the boy, in a way.The simple truth was that Wily was done with bruises, broken bones, brain damage, hearing loss and, most of all, humiliation. From now on, his copy would take the brunt of his struggles, with the real man being safe and sound very, very far away from real action.He simply couldn't afford another near-death experience. After all, he wasn't as youthful as when he began his conquest.
