The Railing of Fate

Images of Victoria pop in my mind.

Us at the roller rink.

Us eating ice cream as it melts and rolls down our faces.

I see her the day she died, laughing moments before she fell…

I take one last deep breath, the last bit of life I’ll ever experience.

I let go of the railing and I started to plummet to the ground.

I hit the ground with a bang.

My head hitting the rocks and water getting me soaked.

I see nothing.

I feel nothing.

Then soon I’m gone…
