At sixteen, Lu Hui Yan ran away on her wedding day after suspecting that the tragic death of her parents involved sabotage. A decade later of travelling the world of the Azure Kingdom, she witnesses a star fall from the sky - and with it, a goddess.

A-Yi, a memoryless deity, crashes into Lu Hui Yan's life, offering an enticing but dangerous chance at something more. Together, they embark on a journey across the Azure Kingdom to uncover A-Yi's past and find her shrine, the only way she can return to the heavens.

Hunted by her fiancé's most esteemed cultivators, the supernatural and a masked assassin, the two soon discover that heaven's hands have long been tangled in the mortal world - and the capital holds the key to a chilling truth.

In a land where spirits and celestials walk alongside humans, and demons live beneath their realm, Lu Hui Yan and A-Yi will have to go against fate, unravel mysteries, and face the bond blooming between them.
