Summary

Zeus laying down the recommendation letter requirement isn't the straw that broke Percy's back but it is the one that convinced him he's done playing 3D godly chess to get one sliver of what he wants. Now he just has to act on that. Good thing he has a mortal parent who sole motivation is getting him to trust himself and believe he doesn't need Olympus permission to live his own life.
