Summary
Elves in modern times: some never left, some were reborn and allowed to come back, no I don't know how any of that worked. And now, in the year 2017 (CE), word comes from beyond the Sea that the Straight Way is about to close and they have to leave -- And Glorfindel has dropped off the grid so Gil-galad, Erestor and Elrond go on a South African road trip to find him before it's too late.
