It's a story about reforming Sanctuary and breaking the cycle of Holy Wars.

The core premise of this fic: none of the gods are truly on humanity's side. The Holy Wars are chess games played between deities, with human warriors as their pieces. Good and evil are tangled together, and people make different choices depending on the situation they're in.

There is no evil spirit possessing Saga in this fic. Only ambition.

Saga had the ability and the ambition, but was crushed by circumstance and fate. He wanted to change the world in his own way, but was branded a villain against his will. I refuse to accept that. I wrote this fic to give him the justice he never got.
