Needles through the Void

Two years ago, Grace and Rocky saved Erid and Earth.

Grace is now part Teacher, part Classroom Pet for a bunch of adoring children. Rocky is a full time zoo keeper for his best friend, the human Grace. Both are absolutely fine, really, stop asking.

But when a mysterious object appears in Grace's enclosure, Grace and Rocky start a race against time to work out how it got there. Who is the man inside? How did he appear in an air-tight human Hab without killing it's sole occupant? Why did Grace's blood and bones stop hurting when he appeared?

Simon says he's human despite the mutations, says he's a third-generation astronaut and is rambling about God Stealing the Sun and all the stars in the sky. Which is just crazy. But Grace is understanding.

Then Erid's sun and stars blinks out of existance. Erid is left alone in the universe, orbiting the void. There is something stirring in Erid's seas. Grace realises that he understands nothing.

History is repeating itself. Grace and Rocky need to work out why.

Because something sent the astrophage out into the universe. Now it wants it back.
