After losing the championship and the disbanding of Team Plasma, N felt... adrift, so to speak. No home, only his beloved Pokémon as company, he took to wandering the region of Unova to try and understand this world he had misguidedly try to change. While in Nimbasa City, he sought shelter in the Battle Subway, where the Subway Masters took notice of him and decided to take this lost soul under their wing...With this sudden change in his life, can the ex-king of Team Plasma—the boy who thought himself to be inhuman—learn to find his own humanity?(This is my answer to the lack of fic revolving around N's post-game life, and is a very slight AU of the game canon. Highly self-indulgent, but who cares. The AU is called "Pokémon Gray AU" because the main difference is that Hilda|Touko and Hilbert|Touya are the same person in this universe as a nonbinary person named just Gray.)
