Summary
Written for a prompt on the hobbit kink meme: Fili has known Dwalin is his soul mate for a while but Dwalin has never given any sign that he wants Fili. Fili thinks Dwalin sees him as a child and decides to prove himself during the quest by saving someone from "danger". He convinces Kili to let him save him from something that looks dangerous so Dwalin will see he's no child. But something goes wrong and Kili gets hurt. Thorin gets the truth out of a drugged!Kili and Dwalin says he will deal with Fili's actions, as his soul mate.
